History and background
The spa business is one of the national economic strategies supported by the government, focused to develop spa facilities, to be one of Thai wisdom and able to reach the international level. Therefore, spa establishments occur in all the major tourist destinations of the country. The production of quality personnel into these expanding spa business requires a combination of knowledge and expertise as well as a commitment to promote this career to succeed in all fields.
School of Professional Carrier Extension & Thai Cultural Spa established since 24 March 1992, with license No. Kor Gor. 1/2536. Formerly, it names Pornsiri tailor and beauty school, and later changed to “School of Professional Carrier Extension & Thai Cultural Spa” on August 15, 2006 with license No. Kor Gor 188/2549. Ajarn Pornsiri Isarapakdi, a licensee, was a person who fulls of love, knowledge, and expertise in health and beauty treatment. She created these special spa courses for beauty after trying the service system in a famous shop and applying cutting-edge technology along with Thai wisdom, which is an important principle in teaching and learning. The experts in each program transfer knowledge and closely control the teaching from over 15 years of experience in the training of general people and educational personnel, both public and private.
Besides, the school has established the Institute of Professional Carrier Extension & Thai Cultural Spa at the office no. 69/39 Tiwanon Road (Soi Tiwanon 16), tambon Talat Kwan, Mueang District, Nonthaburi Province 11000 to provide training for the general people, who interested in the profession of the spa for health and beauty, on August 1, 2006.
Currently, the school has the 2nd branch at Sattahip Center, the 3rd branch at Kalasin Center, the 4th branch at Germany Center, the 5th branch at Germany Center, the 6th branch at Thong Pha Phum Center, the 7th branch at Chum Phae Center, the 8th branch at China Center and many branches.
